Maury Weiss is a Pacific Northwest plein air and professional artist with over a decade of experience in the game industry. His creative journey began in childhood, drawing and painting sea creatures, and later blossomed into a passion for animation, video games, and character design. Encouraged by his father, renowned plein air painter Robin Weiss, Maury maintained his love for traditional art. After graduating from the Art Institute of Seattle, he began accompanying his father on plein air painting trips, falling in love with the art of painting outdoors.

Maury's diverse artistic interests span various mediums and subjects. His fascination with games, wildlife, and character design has driven his career in creating 3D video game characters, while his love for natural beauty and landscapes keeps him regularly exploring the outdoors in search of the perfect painting spot.
