"I absolutely love this ethereal painting of Shi Shi beach that I finished last night. Lars and I planned a full moon backpacking trip to Shi Shi beach. But sadly the moon never made it up over the ridge, forested with massive old growth trees, behind us. We kept getting up through the night until 4 AM or so and never saw the moon. The moonlight was glowing like a halo above the treetops, enough to cast a soft glow on this seastack."
