ZEN STONES
Diane Frame is a longtime resident of beautiful Port Townsend, Washington. She is a member of the Northwest Basket Weavers-Vi Phillips Guild and the National Basketry Organization. After many years of basket making classes and study, she now is able to devote more time to creating.
My love is in the process of searching for stones at the beach, peeling cedar bark from a downed tree and growing northwest sweetgrass. When I retired after 38 years as a passionate educator, I found a new passion in creating and sharing my weaving knowledge with others.
Diane’s Zen Stones are first sealed, and then embellished with intricately woven materials such as bamboo, cane and leather. Please see a variety of stones in the gallery. Each stone is unique and priced from $59 on up depending on the size and weaving intricacy.
