Depiction of a bird (Eurasian Blue Tit) hovering over a boulder in a stone memorial vault which is built high on the top of the hills surrounding beautiful Fort Worden, located in Port Townsend Washington. The artist has a personal connection to the area and spends a lot of time at the site, reading the inscribed poetry and photographing the memorials and vault that is central to the theme.
Painted on gallery wrap canvas with 1.5" profile, as an extension of the painting. This contemporary style does not require framing, but can be framed if desired.
